Noah Webster once said, “…Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended when we finally get to a generation that has nothing to offer the next generation… no truth… no history… no forward-thinking… a faithless generation… no idea of sacrifice… serving.”
Is this still true?
Are the Words of Christ the only thing that can hold our nation together when there is little faith, weak prayers, no idea of history, no consideration of what to pass along to the next generation? Lawlessness is being tolerated to an alarming degree.
Is “Jesus” the answer or our way out?
Will His words calm the tension of the hour or better prepare us for the Rapture of the Church?
The revisionists are working around the clock to distort God’s Word and our historical records… all to satisfy their own itching ears, and their own carnal desires. Imagine dissolving all that provides structure… all that shows the true path for future living… ALL GONE!
John Adams said, “If the people are capable of understanding, seeing and feeling the differences between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice, to what better principle can the friends of mankind apply, than to sense the difference?”
Today, the ability of Americans to discern between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice, is eroding at an alarming rate… a non-recovering rate.
Thomas Jefferson said: “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”
We have lost our way. Can we find our way back?
Do we need to pray for revival or for Jesus to take us home?
What I value is what restrains me. When nothing has value, then there is no more restraint. Without restraint, there will be no moral or social order to provide structure for a continuation of humanity. Are we truly seeing the beginning of the Last Days as God’s Word has warned us and has foretold?
The questions I have presented are the same ones as our founding fathers pondered.
They are the same questions our prophets of old asked. I have been instructed to be working for the Lord when He returns.
I have been instructed to lift my eyes, for that is where my help cometh.
As the situations around us seem troubling, I am not troubled.
The Lord leads me, communes with me. In His presence I have peace. He is my Solid Rock. He will enable me to hear the trumpet sound on that glorious day.
And for today, I will celebrate my liberties as an American.
I will praise My Lord and Savior for my salvation.
In my salvation, I am truly free.
He is my Lord and my Deliverer. I shall not be afraid!
