Memorizing God’s Word

“News From El Salvador”

Britney and Bobby Hibbs write to us from quarantine, but on top of that, they are facing “Amanda,” a tropical storm.

The storm left 30 people dead and 30,000 homeless.

They received a donation and immediately it went to purchase food:  1000 pounds of beans, rice and powdered milk.  They served 400 hot meals.

This is somewhat typical for those doing the Lord’s work in a foreign land.  You battle Satan in any and every way.  Like us, COVID-19 is a great concern for them.  It is on the rise in their area.  But, they have a tropical storm, not enough food, homeless, and the constant concern of gang violence to also deal with.

Bobby and Britney need our prayers and our financial support.  Their hope and strength come from the Lord and His word.

As we work to memorize our Scriptures this week, please pray for the Hibbs and their ministry in El Salvador.

Our Verses this Week:

“He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.”

2 Samuel 22:49 NKJV

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1 NKJV
