Memorizing God’s Word

“The Whole Armor of God”

Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

This week’s Scriptures to memorize are:

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

James 1:22 NKJV

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.”

Philippians 2:5-7 NKJV

Some of you have learned these verses in the King James version of the Bible as I did.  These are presented in the New King James version.

Please feel free to memorize in any translation you prefer or memorize in different translations.  It would be like knowing another language!

I hope you are doing well and encouraged as you memorize God’s Word.

Bible verse memorization is one of the best spiritual exercises you can do.

Call upon the Holy Spirit to help you.  He will bring these words to you at the times you will need them the most.

The person who regularly has the Word of God in his heart and mind is strong. They are not easily shaken.  They are strong when others aren’t.

So… “be strong in the Lord and the power of His might”, through His Mighty Word.
