Quick Thought Thursday: The Ever Expanding Reach of Grace

This is my “quick thought” from today’s reading in Matthew 20-22.

“Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” ~Matthew 21:31

The ever expanding reach of grace! Do you know why the last are first, and the first are last? One reason, those who are deemed worthless by the world understand and experience grace from a very different perspective!

The Good Father delights in offering grace to his beloved children because grace brings us home, grace restores fellowship in the Kingdom of God. We can reluctantly receive his grace out of obligation and duty, we can ignore his grace and live an estranged life, or we can be astonished by the ever expanding reach of his grace that has come for us!

Regardless, we are his beloved children, and he is abundantly overflowing with Grace!

This is what I heard in today’s reading, what do you hear?
